LIPPIE FIRST MAKEUP LOOK
BOB THE DRAG QUEEN always reminds us that you can and quite frankly should "walk into the room purse first". BUT WHAT ABOUT A LIPPIE FIRST? yes friends, i began my makeup look today with my LIP! It's not like this hasn't been done before. I am sure there is content with a concept such as this. However, how often do you see others embracing this? I was messing around with my makeup and when I put on my Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lip, i just felt gewd.
So a "lippie first" is a cool concept because you are gathering a color story from the lip versus the eye makeup. Unlike eye shadow looks which are usually several colors, a lip color tends to be more of a one or two note kind of deal. When I saw this bubblegum mauve, I knew I wanted to accent it with a baby blue of some sort and it completely changed which way my look ended up going....in a gewdd way!
